Golf Tip May 2, 2008

After discussing this with many of the top pros in the country, I am sure the feet are the most important part of your swing. Who would have guessed that?
Think about how you would swing on roller skates, or a field of marbles. But the pros rarely tell you about the importance of the tension that should be held in your feet.

More specifically between the knees and the feet.

Here is your tip for the day. Load tension from the knees through the feet solidly.  Keep this tension enough to restrict movement in the swing. Watch how much more accurately you strike the ball when your knees stay in the same place at address throughout the back swing until impact, or slightly before impact.

Great blog. I noticed I was hitting behind the ball taking large chunks and divots and just recently I loaded tension from my knees to my feet and saw a large improvement in my swing. Thanks for emailing me your daily tip. Joey
